Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking an AML & KYC specialist to join our dedicated function, onboarding clients and investors while ensuring ongoing monitoring across relationships. You will collaborate with internal teams, act as a subject matter expert, and uphold a high-performing AML environment with meticulous attention to detail.

You will complete onboarding, conduct reviews, and contribute to high-quality client deliverables for funds and corporate clients while guiding junior colleagues and maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong AML/KYC experience with solid knowledge of AML/CDD regulatory requirements.
• Good understanding of Funds and Corporate structures and their impact on due diligence.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills and can manage workloads under pressure.
• Strong communication skills, enabling positive interactions with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs.
• Formal qualification in Financial Crime (preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Complete AML/KYC onboarding and periodic reviews, including CDD, name screening, risk assessments, and source of funds checks.
• Deliver timely, high-quality service by preparing reports and meeting deadlines for allocated funds and corporate clients.
• Act as a subject matter expert, quality-check outputs, guide junior team members, and share knowledge on client specifics and best practices.
• Identify, assess, and elevate risks, breaches, complaints, and errors; contribute to corrective and preventive actions.
• Serve as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders, collect due diligence documents and respond to queries.
• Support the AML Manager with reporting, administrative activities, and team initiatives, seeking feedback and development opportunities.

Job Description

Join our dedicated AML & KYC function, where you will play a key role in onboarding clients and investors and ensuring continuous monitoring of these relationships. You will work closely with internal teams, act as a subject matter expert, and contribute to a strong, compliant, and high-performing AML environment. This role suits someone detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to delivering high-quality work.

What you will do

• You will complete AML/KYC onboarding and periodic reviews, carrying out CDD, name screening, risk assessments, source of funds/wealth checks, and ensuring KYC documentation is accurate and up to date
• You will deliver timely and high-quality service by preparing reports, fulfilling client deliverables, and meeting agreed deadlines for your allocated funds and corporate clients
• You will act as a subject matter expert, perform quality checking on team outputs, guide junior team members, and share knowledge on client specifics and best practices
• You will identify, assess, and elevate risks, breaches, complaints, and errors in a timely manner while contributing to corrective and preventive actions
• You will act as a key contact for clients and internal stakeholders, collecting due diligence documents, responding to queries, and ensuring periodic reviews and screenings are completed efficiently
• You will support the AML Manager with reporting, administrative activities, and team initiatives, and take ownership of your own development by seeking feedback, training, and new learning opportunities
• You will follow internal procedures, checklists, and workflows consistently, ensuring accuracy, strong organization, and compliance with regulatory expectations

Qualifications

About you:

• You have strong experience in AML/KYC roles with solid knowledge of AML/CDD regulatory requirements
