About this role

Compliance is a fast-paced and exciting area for JUST EAT, created to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence across the business. We make sure only the right restaurants make it online and customers have the right information to make informed takeaway choices.

Our team works with every internal function, our restaurants, consumers, government groups, and more. We are part detective, part diplomat, part process assistant, and are here to ensure our consumers love their takeaway experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing partner/customer communications regarding policy non-compliance and associated escalations.
• Dealing with high-risk cases to solve them swiftly and efficiently.
• Processing escalated cases related to Food Poisoning, Halal, Kosher, Food Allergens, Health and Safety, Licensing and business registration.
• Conducting root cause analysis of issues, implementing corrective actions or process modifications to prevent recurrence.
• Updating training materials and internal communications.
• Documenting, reporting, and communicating changes to policies and procedures.
• Handling data protection requests, including Subject Access Requests and the Right to be forgotten.
• Responding to legal requests such as police requests and production orders, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.
• Investigating and resolving data protection incidents and breaches.
• Maintaining focus on quality and accuracy of compliance tasks.

What you will bring:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Compliance or investigations-focused roles.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Business acumen with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple communication streams effectively.
• Good understanding of data protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR).
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, especially data analysis using formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience handling escalations and stakeholder management.
• High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive data.
• Drive for excellence and high-quality results.
