Chartwells Independent is seeking a Compliance Administrator to manage annualised hours, workforce planning, reporting, and payroll support across our contract. The role is hybrid and involves collaboration with Operations, Finance, Payroll, and Contract Support teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in data-driven administration, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to process improvements while handling confidential information.

Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce administration or payroll-support roles.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines.
  • Confident communicator for stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience handling confidential payroll information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor annualised hours plans across multiple sites.
  • Track workforce hours, balances, forecasts and labour deployment.
  • Produce accurate reports and identify trends, risks, and discrepancies.
  • Support payroll, accrual and year-end reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate information between Operations, Finance, Payroll and Contract Support teams.
  • Investigate data issues and ensure records are audit-ready.
  • Act as first point of contact for annualised hours queries.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies.

Compliance Administrator

Hybrid Working | £14.20 per hour | 40 hours per week

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident working with data? We're looking for a Compliance Administrator to play a key role in managing annualised hours, workforce planning, reporting, and payroll support across our contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative, analytical, or workforce planning experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with stakeholders, and ensuring operational processes run smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Maintain and monitor annualised hours plans across multiple sites.
  • Track workforce hours, balances, forecasts, and labour deployment.
  • Produce accurate reports and identify trends, risks, and discrepancies.
  • Support payroll, accrual, and year-end reconciliation processes.
  • Coordinate information between Operations, Finance, Payroll, and Contract Support teams.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in workforce administration, labour planning, payroll support, finance administration, or a similar data-driven role.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with managers and stakeholders.
  • Experience handling confidential workforce or payroll information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams.
Desirable
  • Experience with annualised hours, time banking, or LIEU arrangements.
  • Workforce management or scheduling systems knowledge.
  • Payroll, labour cost control, or financial reconciliation experience.
  • Understanding of working time, payroll, and data protection requirements.
