Job summary

Haven is seeking a Park & Financial Safety Advisor in Pwllheli to lead safety and financial compliance across the park. You will coach teams, ensure staff and contractors hold required qualifications, and drive risk assessments and audits in collaboration with leadership.

The role involves engaging with external enforcement bodies, supporting incident investigations, and delivering targeted training. On-site accommodation may be available, with a focus on compliant, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive safety and financial compliance across a park.
• Strong understanding of risk assessments, COSHH, and audits.
• Experience coaching teams and working with external enforcement bodies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coach, and support park teams to achieve safety and financial compliance.
• Ensure inductions and qualifications are up to date for staff and contractors.
• Maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and compliance checks.
• Oversee records and inspections for statutory examination assets and fleet vehicles.
• Support investigations into incidents with detailed reporting.
• Conduct internal audits on financial compliance, stock control, and safety protocols.
• Deliver training on safety, stock, and financial compliance processes.
• Coordinate safety visits with councils, fire services, and EHOs.
• Drive energy-saving and recycling initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
• Participate in weekly and monthly leadership meetings with updates on focus areas.

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and experienced advisor, with a passion for safety and compliance, to drive financial and operational excellence across the park.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, coach, and support park teams to achieve high standards of safety and financial compliance.
• Ensure all team members and external contractors hold relevant qualifications and complete effective site inductions.
• Collaborate with departmental teams to develop and maintain risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and compliance checks.
• Oversee records and inspections for statutory examination assets and fleet vehicles, ensuring they meet all legal requirements.
• Support investigations into incidents, accidents, and claims, gathering evidence and providing detailed reports.
• Conduct internal audits on financial compliance, stock control, cash handling, and safety protocols.
• Deliver coaching and training to park teams on safety, stock, and financial compliance processes.
• Facilitate safety compliance visits with external bodies such as local councils, fire services, and EHOs.
• Collaborate with park leadership to drive energy‑saving initiatives and recycling programs.
• Attend and contribute to weekly and monthly leadership meetings, providing updates on safety, financial compliance, and key focus areas.

Requirements

• IOSH Managing Safely certification & Level 3 Food Hygiene is preferential.
• Strong understanding of safety compliance, risk assessments, and financial audits.
• Exceptional administration, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train teams effectively.
• Experience in working with external enforcement bodies and contractors.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem‑solving.
