Job summary

Haven in Preston is seeking a Park & Financial Safety Advisor to drive safety and financial compliance across the park. You will monitor teams, develop risk assessments, manage audits, and support investigations into incidents with cross-department collaboration.

The role also involves coaching, training, and coordinating with external bodies, plus opportunities for career development and funded qualifications.

Qualifications

• IOSH Managing Safely and Level 3 Food Hygiene preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety compliance, risk assessments, and financial audits.
• Excellent administration, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience coaching and training teams; comfortable working with external bodies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coach, and support park teams to achieve high standards of safety and financial compliance.
• Ensure all team members and external contractors hold relevant qualifications and complete site inductions.
• Collaborate with departments to develop risk assessments and compliance checks.
• Oversee records and inspections for statutory assets and fleet vehicles.
• Support investigations into incidents, accidents, and claims with detailed reports.
• Conduct internal audits on financial compliance, stock control, and safety protocols.
• Deliver coaching and training on safety, stock, and financial processes.
• Facilitate safety compliance visits with external bodies; collaborate with leadership on initiatives.
