Job summary

Haven is seeking a Security Manager to lead and develop our security team, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff at our holiday park.

You will manage performance, budgets, and resources while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. This hands-on role requires strong leadership, training, and customer service skills to uphold service excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Management role.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Experience in budgeting and financial management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver excellent service and achieve targets.
• Guest Experience: Ensure top-tier guest satisfaction by addressing concerns, improving service, and driving a welcoming atmosphere.
• Performance Management:Monitorindividual and team performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and conducting performance reviews.
• Resource Management: Overseeteam scheduling, budgets, and resources to maximise efficiency and meet business needs.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operationscomply withhealth and safety regulations, company policies, and standards, includingmaintainingand reviewing the Park Security Plan, Security RiskAssessmentsand Instructions.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve any operational issues that arise, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
• Training and Development: Supportteam development through ongoing training, mentoring, and creating growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Security Management role, preferably in a holiday park, resort, or customer service environment.
• Valid SIA Door Supervisors (DS) License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilemaintainingattention to detail.
• Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols, procedures and health and safety regulations
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Experience in budgeting andfinancial management.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
