Qualifications

• BSc or Diploma in Speech and Language and HCPC registration are required.
• Evidence of CPD maintained in a portfolio with recent postgraduate courses.
• Postgraduate leadership certificate and MSc are preferred.
• Membership of a professional body is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Screen and triage referrals; assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions for complex needs.
• Provide specialist SLT assessment and intervention for children and young people.
• Hold and manage a caseload of children with highly complex needs.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary pathways and service development.
