Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist with neonatal and acute paediatric experience. You will work as part of an MDT to deliver a specialist neonatal SLT service across the level 2 neonatal unit and a level 1 special care unit, with opportunities to lead on quality improvement projects.

You will provide holistic, developmentally appropriate care to babies, children and families, manage a dysphagia caseload, and coordinate admissions,

Qualifications

• UK NHS Band 7 level experience in neonatal and paediatric SLT.
• Specialist dysphagia assessment and management in neonatal/paediatric settings.
• Ability to lead on neonatal VFSS and provide MDT input.

Responsibilities

• Manage highly specialist assessment and therapeutic management of neonatal/paediatric dysphagia.
• Independently manage a designated caseload across in-patients and outpatients.
• Lead the Videofluoroscopy clinic and coordinate VFSS processes.
