Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc or Diploma in Speech and Language, HCPC registration and ongoing CPD maintained.
• Postgraduate leadership certificate and MSc in a relevant clinical area.
• Membership of a professional body and evidence of advanced clinical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist SLT assessment and intervention for a caseload of complex cases across paediatric pathways.
• Lead and support SLTs on designated pathways, with governance and training responsibilities.
• Screen, triage referrals, and plan, implement and evaluate interventions for children with additional needs in the community.
• Manage caseloads with highly complex long-term conditions using evidence-based care.
