Job summary

Cpl UK Healthcare is recruiting a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join a specialist team in West London, working with paediatric services in an educational setting. You will assess and treat children with moderate to complex ASD, helping them develop communication, participation and independence.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist is required.
• Experience with children and young people with ASD is essential.
• Experience in paediatric or specialist educational settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a specialist paediatric Speech and Language Therapy caseload.
• Assess children and young people with moderate to complex ASD.
• Develop and deliver individualised therapy programmes.
• Support pupils with complex communication and social communication needs.
• Work closely with teachers, Occupational Therapists, psychologists, families and other professionals.
• Contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews and multidisciplinary reports.
• Provide training and practical communication strategies to school staff and parents/carers.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures.
