Job summary

Academics in Thatcham is hiring a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school as soon as possible. You will provide dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs, including ASD and communication difficulties, helping with learning, social development and independence.

You will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, therapists and other professionals, implementing personalised learning strategies and promoting positive communication and engagement throughout

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with complex SEN, including ASD and communication difficulties.
• 1:1 and small group support experience.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children who may require highly personalised support.
