Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Paisley is seeking a dedicated Complex Needs Practitioner Level 1 to support adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. This full-time role involves helping with daily living, mobility, and emotional well-being within a two-home complex and a supportive team.

You will assist with meals, medications, appointments and personal care while empowering individuals to maintain independence and confidence. A UID PVG process is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting.
• Knowledge of care plans.
• An empathetic and caring nature.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Abilityto work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living activities including meal preparation, medication, appointments and activities.
• Assist with managing personal finances and moving & handling.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Support individuals to maintain independence and reduce social isolation.
• Use communication tools to meet the needs of individuals with complex communication needs.
