Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland Limited in Paisley is seeking a Complex Needs Practitioner Level 1 to support adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs. This full-time, permanent role focuses on daily living, medication support, meals, moving and handling, and accompanying individuals to appointments.

You will work as part of a dedicated team, provide emotional support, help maintain relationships with family and friends, and use person-centred approaches.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting.
• Knowledge of care plans.
• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living including meal preparation and medication support.
• Assist with appointments, personal finances and shopping.
• Aid with moving and handling and personal care as needed.
• Provide emotional support and help maintain relationships with family and friends.
• Support individuals with communication needs using appropriate tools.
• Promote independence and reduce social isolation.
