Senploy is seeking a Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary SEN School in Lewisham. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with immediate start.

You will work with students with high needs, including ASD, SEMH and other complex needs, providing essential classroom and 1-1 support and collaborating with teaching staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant - Secondary SEN School - Lewisham

We are working with a large Secondary SEN school who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with High needs, ASD, Challenging behaviour and PMLD.

The role

The role involves general classroom support as well as 1-1 support while working closely with colleagues in providing support outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students (SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD) it is essential that you have worked with special needs in some capacity.

Working in these schools is incredibly rewarding. You have a chance to make a real difference in these children's lives but it's not always easy! You must be resilient, patient, adaptable, enthusiastic and confident in managing challenging behaviour.
