Job summary

Senploy is seeking a Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant for a Secondary SEN School in Lewisham. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with immediate start.

You will work with students with high needs, including ASD, SEMH and other complex needs, providing essential classroom and 1-1 support and collaborating with teaching staff to create a safe and engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special needs (ASD, SEMH, Complex Needs) in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide general classroom support and 1-1 support for students.
• Work closely with colleagues to support students inside and outside the classroom.
• Demonstrate resilience, patience and confidence in managing challenging behaviour.
