Job summary

Remedy Education are supporting a large Secondary SEN school in Lewisham, seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support students with High needs, ASD, Challenging behaviour and PMLD. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting ASAP.

You will provide general classroom support and 1-1 support, while working with colleagues to assist outside the classroom. The post requires resilience, patience, adaptability, enthusiasm and confidence in managing challenging

• Experience working with Special Needs.
• Experience supporting students with SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD.

Remedy are working with a large Secondary SEN school who are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with High needs, ASD, Challenging behaviour and PMLD.

The role

The role involves general classroom support as well as 1-1 support while working closely with colleagues in providing support outside of the classroom. Due to the needs of the students (SEMH, ASD, Complex Needs, SLD, MLD) it is essential that you have worked with special needs in some capacity.
