Job summary

Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting Complex Healthcare Assistants in East Malling, United Kingdom, to support a gentleman with complex care needs. The role involves complex tasks including suctioning, enteral feeding, PEG medication administration, tracheostomy care, and respiratory support.

You will work shifts covering Days, Twilight, and Nights (7-7), with extensive training and ongoing clinical support provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months UK-based care experience.
• Full Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in Tracheotomy care.

Job description

We are urgently recruiting Healthcare Assistants !

The client enjoys a relaxed and engaging routine, including watching daytime TV, DVDs and videos, listening to music and attending activities. Supporting him to enjoy his routines and interests is an important and rewarding part of the role.

We are seeking experienced Complex Healthcare Assistants in East Malling to support a gentleman with complex care needs, including Fragile X Syndrome, learning disabilities, autism, Tourette’s syndrome and complex tracheostomy care.

The role includes suctioning, enteral feeding, medication administration via PEG, tracheostomy care, moving and handling and ongoing respiratory support. He may require inner-cannula changes, repositioning to support his breathing, and monitoring when experiencing wheezing or stridor.

Full training and ongoing clinical support will be provided, including training to safely administer buccal Midazolam for seizure management.

Shifts Available: Days, Twilight, Nights. (Typically 7-7).

Driving Licence: You do not need to have a driving licence to apply for this role.
