Job summary

HFH Healthcare Limited is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant – Tracheostomy Care to support a sociable gentleman in Littlehampton, West Sussex. The role is based in the client’s home with 12-hour day (8am–8pm) and waking night (8pm–8am) shifts.

Hourly pay ranges from £12.71 to £16.00, with PAYE employment and regular weekend/Bank Holiday enhancements. You will provide one-to-one, person-centred care, tracheostomy care and suctioning, assist with enteral feeding and medications, and

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or complex care required.
• Tracheostomy care and suctioning experience desirable.
• Experience with enteral feeding or respiratory care beneficial.
• Friendly, patient and sociable personality.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Compassionate, reliable and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one, person-centred care and companionship.
• Support tracheostomy care, suctioning and respiratory management.
• Assist with RIG/enteral feeding and medication administration.
• Support personal care, mobility and daily routines.
• Encourage independence, confidence and community activities.
• Monitor wellbeing and recognise changes in health.

Complex Care Assistant – Tracheostomy Care

Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Pay: £12.71–£16.00 per hour

HFH Healthcare is looking for compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistants to support a friendly, sociable gentleman in his own home in Littlehampton.

Our client loves good conversation, has a great sense of humour and enjoys football (especially Arsenal!), cricket, classical music and crime documentaries.

He's looking forward to regaining his confidence and independence, spending time with his family, enjoying his garden and getting back out into the community.

We're looking for someone who will take the time to get to know him, share a laugh and support him to enjoy the things that matter most.

What will you be doing?

• Providing one-to-one, person-centred care and companionship.
