Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Complex Claims Casualty Claims Adjuster to manage a high-value EL and PL portfolio. The role supports remote work within the UK and offers opportunities to collaborate with clients, brokers, and insurers to deliver outcomes that matter.

You will assess liability, negotiate settlements, guide stakeholders through the claims journey, and mentor junior colleagues while helping drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Overview

Join our team as a Complex Claims Casualty Claims Adjuster and become part of a company that truly values integrity, innovation, and collaboration. Whether you prefer working remotely or from our Tamworth office, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding claims management solutions.

We can offer this role on a fully remote basis, albeit applicants will need to be based in the UK.

How you’ll make an impact

• Take charge of a diverse portfolio of local authority public and employer liability claims, covering property damage, personal injury and officials’ indemnity.
• Use your expertise to assess liability, evaluate claims, and negotiate fair settlements.
• Build strong relationships by working closely with clients, brokers, suppliers, insurers and claimants, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
• Offer trusted guidance and expert advice to clients at every stage of the claims process.
• Inspire and mentor junior team members, helping them grow and succeed.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and boost efficiency.

• You bring experience in handling high value local authority employer liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims.
• You have a solid understanding of insurance principles and regulatory compliance.
