Radis Community Care in Clun near Ludlow is seeking a dedicated Complex Support Worker to provide person-centred, specialist care in the gentleman's own home, maintaining a clinical and supportive overview.

Role requires a full driving licence and use of own vehicle; training will be provided. You will support with personal care, bowel care, medication, meals and activities, with day and night shifts available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of spinal cord injury and associated risks (e.g., Autonomic Dysreflexia).
• Knowledge of additional needs and care considerations.

Job description

Radis Community Care are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Complex Care staff to join our care and support team in the role of Complex Support Worker in Clun (near to Ludlow). Your role will involve delivering person-centred, specialised, flexible and needs-based care to the gentleman we support in his own home. This will enable you to maintain a clinical and supportive overview of the people you support.

About the role

The location is very rural with no public transport therefore a full Driving Licence and the use of your own vehicle (with business insurance) is required.

We are looking for complex care staff that can build positive relationships with the gentleman we support and his family as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

Specific training will be provided. You will assist with the gentleman we support with personal care, bowel care, manual handling, medication, meal preparation and activities outside of the home.

DAYS and NIGHTS available

Days - 08:00 to 20:00

Nights - 20:00 to 08:00
