Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group in Oxford is seeking a Brain Injury Support Worker to provide one-to-one care for a gentleman in his 40s living with brain injury. You will promote independence, support daily living, PEG feeding, mobility, and emotional wellbeing.

Full UK driving licence is essential; full training will be provided. You’ll join a compassionate team delivering specialist care, working closely with family and healthcare professionals to ensure safety, comfort and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care, brain injury support, or specialist community care.
• Ability to support individuals with challenging behaviours.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, person-centred approach.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Support with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist with mobility and hoists usage.
• Administer medication and monitor wellbeing.
• Support PEG feeding requirements.
• Provide emotional reassurance and companionship.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
• Work closely with family and healthcare professionals.
• Manage and respond to behaviours that challenge.
