Libertatem Healthcare Group seeks a compassionate Female Complex Care Support Worker to provide one-to-one support for an adult with an acquired brain injury in Southport and the surrounding areas. The role focuses on independence, mobility, and community engagement.

Experience with brain injuries or complex care needs, plus personal care skills, are essential. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting adults with brain injuries, neurological conditions, learning disabilities, or complex care needs.
• Experience providing personal care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and person-centred approach.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Confident supporting individuals in the community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred one-to-one support.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support mobility and safe movement.
• Administer medication in line with care plans and training.
• Provide emotional support and companionship.
• Support communication and social engagement.
• Accompany the client to day centres, appointments, family visits, and community outings.
• Encourage independence and promote wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Monitor and report any changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour.
• Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals.
