Job summary

The Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking a Female Support Worker to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities in Keighley, West Yorkshire. The role requires patience, empathy, and the ability to recognise and respond to non-verbal communication methods.

Shifts include evenings and weekends, with a minimum two shifts weekly and specific times. The role is female-only due to personal care needs and is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed.
• Ability to observe and interpret non-verbal cues and behaviours.
• Reliable, patient and compassionate approach to care.
• Understanding of non-verbal communication.
• Awareness of autism and person-centred support approaches.
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, person-centred support tailored to the client’s individual needs.
• Develop a positive and trusting working relationship with the client.
• Understand and respond to non-verbal communication and behavioural cues.
• Support with personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Assist with daily living activities and promoting independence.
• Administer medication in line with training and company procedures.
• Complete accurate documentation and report changes or concerns.
• Promote wellbeing, choice, inclusion and quality of life.

Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire
Pay Rate:between £13.00 - £13.92 per hour
Shifts: Required to work minimum of 2 shifts per week,

• Monday to Friday: 15:15 – 20:45
• Required to work a minimum of one shift per week: 16:00 – 22:00

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Female Support Worker to join a dedicated care team supporting a female client with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities.

Our client is non-verbal and relies heavily on her support workers' ability to recognise, interpret, and respond to her individual communication methods, behaviours, and non-verbal cues. The successful candidates will be patient, observant, compassionate, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support.

Note: This is a female support worker role due to the provision of personal care and is exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Key Responsibilities
