Job summary

Continuity of Care Services Ltd is seeking compassionate Specialist Care Assistants to support two clients living together in their own home in West Malling. You will provide person-centred care, including personal care, medication administration, and complex moving and handling, with a focus on enabling independence and community access.

Roles require flexibility for sickness/leave, weekend work, and occasional night shifts for respite.

Qualifications

  • Previous complex care experience is essential.
  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to two clients at home.
  • Assist with complex moving and handling and medication administration.
  • Support PEG feeding and epilepsy management as required.
  • Enable community access and social outings for the clients.

Hourly Rate: £15.62 to £17.52 per hour, with enhanced rates on BH and over festive period

Shifts available: 9:30am- 6:30pm, 2-3 shifts per week with weekends being a required working days

Job Types: Part- time, Zero hours contract

Continuity of Care Services Ltd is currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Specialist Care Assistant to join our specialist complex care team in West Malling to support two wonderful individuals living together in their own home. This is more than just a care role it's an opportunity to provide meaningful, person-centred support that genuinely enhances quality of life.

Flexibility is required to cover sickness and annual leave within the Specialist Care Assistant team. Please note that nights may be also required to cover respite care when family go away.

About the Role:

Continuity of Care Services Ltd is seeking compassionate and dedicated Specialist Care Assistants to support two clients living together in the same household. One client lives with a severe learning disability and epilepsy, the second client lives with cerebral palsy, a learning disability, and epilepsy. Both clients require a high level of complex care and value support to access the community. They enjoy outings such as visits to country parks, and other social activities. This role would suit a patient, caring, and proactive individual who is committed to providing person-centred support.

Prior to starting, you will have the opportunity to meet the clients and their family to ensure you feel confident and well-prepared for the role.

Skills training specific to the individuals needs will be provided by Continuity Training Academy.
