Job summary

NLG in Belton, North Lincolnshire, is seeking a Complex Care Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our Home Care team. The role supports a person with Spastic Quadriplegic cerebral palsy and autism, delivering safe personal and clinical care per the care plan and building trusting relationships with the client and family.

We offer flexibility with part-time and full-time options, weekly pay, and holiday pay at 12.07%.

Qualifications

  • Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience with Autism, ADHD or SEMH is beneficial.
  • PEG Care experience is beneficial.
  • Qualifications in Health and Social Care (NVQ Level 2/3) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care per the care plan.
  • Support Learning Disabilities and associated behaviours.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and families; provide emotional support.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to develop care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress and report concerns to senior staff.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

Job Title: Complex Care Learning Disabilities Support Worker

Employment Type: Part time and full time available.

About this role: We are looking for a caring and reliable Support Worker to make a real difference in the life of an individual with Spastic Quadriplegic, Cerebral Palsy and Autism

Contract for Services. We are not currently accepting applications from individuals looking for sponsorship.

Salary £13ph weekdays, £14ph weekends plus 12.07% holiday pay. We pay our team weekly!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering safe, high quality personal and clinical care in line with the person 's care plan.
  • Supporting Learning Disabilities and associated behaviours.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalised care plans .
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

About You:

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential
  • Previous experience supporting those with Autism, ADHD, SEMH is beneficial
  • PEG Care experience is beneficial
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
