Job summary

Nursing Direct Limited is recruiting an experienced Complex Healthcare Assistant to join our homecare team in Isleworth, London. The role involves providing personalised support to an individual with complex medical and behavioural needs within a homecare setting.

Responsibilities include daily living support, personal care, mobility assistance, non-invasive ventilation management, PEG feeds, and medication delivery. DBS enhanced within the last year is required; visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months UK experience in a similar support role.
• Enhanced DBS issued within the last year or registered on the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living and activities for the client.
• Provide personal care and mobility support including manual handling.
• Manage non-invasive ventilation and gastrostomy feeds as required.
• Administer medication via PEG and monitor seizure management.
• Promote independence and emotional wellbeing; respond to behavioural needs.
• Follow personalised care plans and risk assessments; maintain safeguarding and infection control.

• maintaining safeguarding, infection control and compliance standards

Applicants should have a minimum of six months UK experience in a similar support role, a calm and compassionate approach and an Enhanced DBS issued within the last year or registered on the Update Service.

Nursing Direct offers a competitive rate of £16 per hour, consistent hours, ongoing support and opportunities for further training and development.
