Job summary

Nursing Direct is seeking compassionate Complex Care Assistants with paediatric experience to provide specialist in-home care for children and young people with complex health needs in North London. You will work closely with families and clinical teams to deliver safe, person-centred care that promotes the child’s safety, comfort and wellbeing.

Applicants should have previous experience supporting children with complex care needs in community or homecare settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with complex care needs in community or homecare settings.
• Training in tracheostomy care, gastrostomy feeding, ventilator support or seizure management may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical tasks such as tracheostomy care and gastrostomy feeds under supervision.
• Provide personal care and support daily routines and developmental needs.
• Document care and report changes in the child's condition.
