Job summary

Independent Community Care Management Limited is recruiting a Complex Care Assistant to support a gentleman in Wellingborough. The role involves hands-on complex care for a spinal injury patient with a tracheostomy in his home, ensuring comfort, safety and wellbeing.

You will assist with ventilator management, PEG feeding and suction/cough assist while maintaining a compassionate, patient‑centred approach within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Background in complex care with spinal injuries preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomies required before interview.
• Full training and paid induction provided.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Our client is a gentleman in his 60s who has a spinal cord injury and has a tracheostomy.

At all times you will ensure his comfort and safety, where its a vital role that makes a real difference.

Our client loves blogging and working in his home office, he also enjoys watching tv shows.

This rewarding role requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional with a willingness to make a positive impact on our client's life.

The clinical tasks involved in this role include:

• Ventilator Management
• PEG Feeding
• Suctioning / Cough Assist

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

A background in complex care with spinal injuries would be preferred. Prior to being selected for an interview you will need to have experience with tracheostomies.
