Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH Group, is seeking caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area with overnight care. The role involves 2–3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (8pm–8am), and following a care plan developed with clinical support.

You will work with a registered nurse, receive full DBS checks, and benefit from training, career progression, and family-friendly policies. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds / gastronomy care.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Moving & Handling equipment, hoists.
• Car driver due to location.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a special care team delivering care to a client with complex needs.
• Provide overnight care in line with the care plan.
• Monitor saturation and support with hoist/ moving & handling.
• Attend regular supervisions and team meetings with a nurse support.

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential.

We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area, we are looking for someone to do 2-3 nights per week.

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

- Saturation Monitoring

- Specialist Moving & Handling (Hoist)

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Colchester branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience withPEG feeds / Gastronomy care.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Moving & Handling Equipment, in particular hoists.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
