Job summary

Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area with overnight care. You will follow the care plan and have supervision from the Colchester branch, with regular team meetings and support from a registered nurse for any clinical concerns.

The role requires experience in complex care, PEG/gastronomy care, suctioning, and moving & handling equipment (hoists). A valid driver’s license is required due to location.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds / Gastronomy care.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Moving & Handling Equipment, in particular hoists.
• A car driver is required due to the location.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight care in line with the individual care plan.
• Be supported by Advantage Healthcare Colchester branch and attend regular supervision and team meetings.
• Work as part of a care team to meet the child’s complex clinical needs.

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential. We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area, we are looking for someone to do 2-3 nights per week. The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes, You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Colchester branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client's care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.

• Experience working in a complex care setting.
• Experience with PEG feeds / Gastronomy care.
• Experience with suctioning.
• Moving & Handling Equipment, in particular hoists.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.
