Job summary

Routes Healthcare is expanding its specialist Paediatric Regional Complex Care Team and is looking for experienced care professionals to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs across the North East.

You will provide specialist one-to-one and two-to-one care, supporting clients with: Travel across the region is required, with mileage paid.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Compassionate, reliable and professional approach.
• Previous paediatric care experience.
• Tracheostomy, suctioning or ventilation experience.
• Spinal injury or neurological care experience.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist one-to-one and two-to-one care for children and young people with complex healthcare needs.
• Support clients with tracheostomy, suctioning, ventilation and clinical monitoring.
• Promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life; travel across the region.

Female Paediatric Complex Care Specialist - Regional Support Team

Location: North East Region (Newcastle, Gateshead, North & South Tyneside, Sunderland)

Fully funded Enhanced DBS

Shifts: Various shifts available, including 6-hour, 8-hour and 12-hour day and night shifts. Weekend availability required , guaranteed hours available after successful

Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

About the Role
