Job summary

Independent Community Care Management Limited in Leicester is seeking a Complex Care Assistant to join our local team. You will look after a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs, providing compassionate care, personal support, and medication assistance in a 2:1 package.

The role offers full training, ongoing development, and a path into leadership. You will work across shift patterns including days and nights, contributing to our mission to deliver exceptional community

Qualifications

• Experience in the following clinical skills are essential prior to being selected for an interview.
• Medication administration is required.
• Moving & handling equipment knowledge including postural support, sleep systems, hoist and manual wheelchair.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support for a non-verbal young person with complex needs.
• Assist with feeding, medication preparation and administration, and moving and handling.
• Support regular oral suctioning due to aspiration risk and ensure safety.

Job Description

What you'll do

You will be looking after a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs. In this 2:1 packageof care, this can range from providing personal care, food and medication preparation and administration, specialist moving and handling and regular oral suctioning due to a high aspiration risk.

Qualifications
