Job summary

Independent Community Care Management, part of CCH, is seeking caring staff for a 2:1 complex care package in Leicester.

West Knighton, Leicester-based role offers days and nights shifts, including term-time patterns. Pay £13.75 per hour. DBS check is paid for, full training provided, and there are clear paths for career progression within CCH.

We welcome reliable, compassionate candidates who can support a non-verbal young gentleman with complex needs, maintaining dignity and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills listed are essential prior to interview.
• Ability to perform medication administration and oral suctioning.
• Experience with moving and handling equipment is required.

Job Description

What you'll do

You will be looking after a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs. In this 2:1 package of care, this can range from providing personal care, food and medication preparation and administration, specialist moving and handling and regular oral suctioning due to a high aspiration risk.

Qualifications

Experience in the following clinical skills are essential prior to being selected for an interview:

• Oral Suctioning
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment (Postural Support, Sleep Systems, Hoist, Manual Wheelchair)
