Job summary

CCH, Independent Community Care Management, is recruiting in Leicester to support a non-verbal young gentleman with complex clinical needs. This 2:1 care package covers personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance and regular monitoring.

You will work days and nights with shifts listed, and full training is provided with paid induction. DBS check is free and career progression opportunities are available within the group.

Qualifications

• Experience with oral suctioning, medication administration and moving and handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Care for a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs; tasks include personal care, meal preparation, medications, moving and suctioning.

Term Time Days - Weekdays 3:30pm - 8:30pm | Weekends 8am - 8pm
Term Time Nights - Weekdays 8:30pm - 8:30am | Weekends 8pm - 8am

Job Description

What you'll do

You will be looking after a non-verbal young gentleman with very complex clinical needs. In this 2:1 package of care, this can range from providing personal care, food and medication preparation and administration, specialist moving and handling and regular oral suctioning due to a high aspiration risk.

Qualifications

Experience in the following clinical skills are essential prior to being selected for an interview:

• Oral Suctioning
• Medication Administration
• Moving & Handling Equipment (Postural Support, Sleep Systems, Hoist, Manual Wheelchair)
