Job summary

Total Community Care in Harlow is seeking a caring, patient care assistant to support a client in her family home. You'll help with PEG feeding, medication administration, personal care, and safe manual handling, while also helping her enjoy social activities and occasional trips to London.

You’ll receive nurse-led training and ongoing clinical support, with full DBS paid for, career progression opportunities, and family-friendly benefits within a warm, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Care experience with client in home setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with PEG feeding, medication administration, personal care and manual handling.
• Support client to enjoy social activities and outings including London trips.

Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour

Shifts Available

Nights: Thursdays & Fridays - 8pm - 8am - Alternate Weekend Days Included

What you’ll do

We are looking for a confident, caring, and enthusiastic care professional to support our client in her family home. In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll assist with PEG feeding, medication administration, personal care, and manual handling, while also supporting her to enjoy social activities, shopping trips, and occasional work travel to London. She lives with her parents, brother, and a friendly dog, animal lovers welcome!

This role is ideal for someone who brings empathy, energy, and a passion for person-centred care. You’ll be joining a warm, welcoming household where building strong relationships and delivering high-quality support truly makes a difference.
