Job summary

Care By Us Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a compassionate Complex Care Assistant to provide overnight support in a family home for a lady with complex needs. You will deliver personal care, monitor wellbeing, assist with meals, mobility, and appointments with respectful, person-centred care.

Experience in complex care is welcome but not essential. Full training and DBS clearance are provided, with paid induction and opportunities for career progression within the CCH network.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is desirable but not essential.
• PEG feeding is advantageous.
• Ventilation support (C-PAP) knowledge is beneficial.
• Medication administration experience is valuable.
• Moving & handling equipment familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight support for a person with complex care needs in a family home.
• Deliver personal care, assist with meals, and support with appointments and activities.
• Ensure safety, comfort, and wellbeing throughout the night with respectful, person-centred care.

Complex Care Assistant: Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and reliable individual to provide overnight support for a lady with complex care needs in her family home, delivering calm, respectful, and attentive care to ensure her comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night; duties include personal care, food preparation, medication administration, and support with social activities and appointments. The client lives with a supportive, welcoming family in a pet-free home, has a creative personality, and enjoys films, arts and crafts, and hypnotherapy, valuing reassuring, person-centred support. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is genuinely caring, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality home-based care; experience in complex care is desirable, but kindness, patience, and a willingness to learn are essential.
