Advantage Healthcare, part of CCH, is seeking caring individuals to support an overnight care client in Luton. Work 2-3 nights per week with 12-hour shifts (8pm–8am). A registered nurse will support with clinical questions and care planning.

You should have experience in complex care, PEG/Gastronomy care, suctioning, and using hoists. Driver required due to location. Training and supervision provided.

Qualificações

• Moving & Handling Equipment, in particular hoists.
• You will need to be a car driver due to the location.

Responsabilidades

• Provide overnight care to a client with complex needs per care plan.
• Deliver gastrostomy care and oral suctioning.
• Monitor saturation levels and report changes.
• Assist with safe moving and handling and use of hoists.
• Attend regular supervision and team meetings.

Job Description

What you’ll do

Be a part of a special care team delivering care to our client who is a delightful child to support him to reach his full potential.

We are currently looking for caring individuals to support a young boy in the Luton area, we are looking for someone to do 2-3 nights per week.

The client has a multitude of complex clinical needs where you will deliver overnight care in line with the care plan which includes:

• - Gastrostomy care
• - Oral suctioning
• - Saturation Monitoring
• - Specialist Moving & Handling (Hoist)

You will be supported by Advantage Healthcare Colchester branch and invited to attend regular supervisions and team meetings. A registered nurse will ensure you are competent in our client’s care needs and support with any clinical concerns and queries you may have.
