Job summary

CCH Group's Advantage Healthcare team in Hoo is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support children with multiple complex medical needs. You will perform PEG feeding, medication administration, oxygen therapy, and assist with personal care.

You will work with a supportive team, receive full training and DBS coverage, with clear opportunities for progression and family-friendly leave.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential for this position.
• PEG Feeding (Mickey Button) experience is required.
• Non-Invasive Ventilation knowledge is necessary.
• Medication administration experience is essential.
• Moving and handling equipment experience is important.

Responsibilities

• PEG Feeding Management & Medication Administration via PEG.
• Oxygen Therapy support and administration.
• Personal Care assistance and repositioning with proper equipment.
• Provide emotional reassurance and engage with the patient using communication.

Job Description

What you'll do

This challenging but rewarding role is for a child who has multiple complex care and clinical needs. On your day-to-day you will be required to complete the following tasks:

• PEG Feed Management & Medication Administration via PEG
• Oxygen Therapy
• Support with Personal Care & Repositioning Using Appropriate Equipment
• Providing Emotional Reassurance & Engagement With Strong Communication Skills, Reading Non-Verbal Social Cues.
