Job summary

City & County Healthcare Group (Advantage Healthcare), part of our Complex Care team in the UK, is seeking a dedicated care professional. You will manage PEG feeding and medication administration via PEG, provide oxygen therapy, and support personal care with proper equipment.

Experience in complex care is essential; full training is provided. Career progression within CCH, family-friendly leave, and nationwide opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex care is essential for this position.
• PEG feeding (Mickey Button) experience is preferred.
• Non-invasive ventilation experience is desirable.
• Medication administration experience is required.
• Moving and handling equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• PEG feeding management and medication administration via PEG.
• Oxygen therapy administration.
• Personal care and repositioning using appropriate equipment.
• Provide emotional reassurance and engage with clients using strong communication skills.

Job Description

What you'll do

This challenging but rewarding role is for a child who has multiple complex care and clinical needs. On your day-to-day you will be required to complete the following tasks:

• PEG Feed Management & Medication Administration via PEG
• Oxygen Therapy
• Support with Personal Care & Repositioning Using Appropriate Equipment
• Providing Emotional Reassurance & Engagement With Strong Communication Skills, Reading Non-Verbal Social Cues.
