Job summary

Llais – The Citizen Voice Body for Health and Social Care Wales is hiring a Complaints Advocate in a hybrid role (remote/office) for maternity cover. Band 6, salary £40,559.00–£48,841.00, 37.5 hours per week, with Welsh language skills being desirable.

The post focuses on guiding complainants through NHS and Social Care procedures and improving services across Wales. The successful candidate will provide information, assist with complaints, and support investigations while liaising with senior

Qualifications

• Experience in complaint handling or advocacy.
• Ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist information and advice to complainants and assist them in taking up their complaints about NHS services and Social Care services.
• Facilitate discussion and resolution between professionals and complainants on sensitive topics.
• Enable complainants to submit concise concerns for thorough investigation under the Complaints procedure.
• Support complainants during Ombudsman investigations, including interpretation of reports.
