Job description

Large commercial law firm in the City is looking to recruit a Competition lawyer with 3 or more years’ PQE. The team’s clients include leading financial institutions, top Fortune and FTSE companies from various industry sectors, regulatory bodies, and national governments. They handle the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious competition, regulation, and trade work globally, including:

1. Cartel and other behavioural investigations
2. Merger control and foreign direct investment
3. Antitrust advice
4. Competition litigation (private enforcement and appeals)
5. Regulatory matters
6. State aid, public procurement, WTO, and trade

This role primarily focuses on non-contentious matters, but the successful applicant will have opportunities to work on contentious issues, especially private enforcement and other competition disputes. The firm boasts a market-leading competition litigation practice within the Competition, Regulation, and Trade group, collaborating with the firm's wider Dispute Resolution division.
