The Opportunity

As a Compensation & Benefits Advisor you'll help imbed our pay and benefit strategies to support our broader People Ambition with a particular focus on gender equality and a commitment to diversity and inclusion. Your work will directly contribute to building a culture where everyone feels rewarded and recognised regardless of gender, background, or identity. Duties Include

  • Advising the business on salary positioning and job grading, becoming the “go to” contact for compensation related guidance.
  • Building your expertise in job evaluation methodology, taking ownership of evaluations and ensuring consistency across job families and levels.
  • Coordinating and leading the implementation of new benefits and policies, including collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Being a key team member in the annual benefits review process, managing renewals, updating communication materials, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Managing salary survey participation from job matching through to data submission and analysis of results.
  • Contribute to the pay benchmarking process, helping ensure our salary ranges remain competitive and data led.
  • Taking a central role in delivering the annual salary review and related pay processes, with the aim of eventually leading on aspects of planning and execution.

Technical Capabilities And Experience

  • Knowledge of salary benchmarking tools and survey systems (experience with Willis Towers Watson and/or PayData advantageous).
  • Experience of common employee benefits (e.g. Private medical insurance, income Protection, Company cars)
  • Experience with analytical job evaluation methodologies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage and interpret complex data sets confidently.
  • Ability to communicate confidently, both verbally and through written documents, and develop relationships with peers across LOR, as well as stakeholders and external providers.
  • Good working knowledge of GDPR requirements and how they apply to reward data and employee records.
