Job summary

Regan Veterinary Centre, part of CVS Vets, is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist in Manchester. You will manage calls, appointments, greet clients, handle insurance, and assist with payments while maintaining a caring, professional approach.

Experience in reception or a client-focused role is essential. Proficiency in MS Office and databases is required; veterinary setting experience is a bonus. A positive attitude and teamwork are valued at CVS Vets.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Receptionist or in a client-focused role.
• Ability to handle emotional situations with kindness and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage communication: handle incoming calls and schedule appointments.
• Resolve inquiries via phone, email and in-person interactions.
• Greet and register new clients, ensuring a warm welcome.
• Process and manage insurance forms.
• Dispense medications as required.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Provide empathy and support to clients during distressing times.
• Organise patients using the in-house system.
• Liaise with veterinary practices to address patient needs.
• Manage debts and refunds via phone calls.
• Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.
• Ensure clients feel welcomed and valued.
