Animal Trust (UK) is seeking a friendly veterinary receptionist to join our team in Manchester. You will support clients and clinical staff, manage appointments, and handle payments in a fast-paced, compassionate hospital environment.

The role requires experience in veterinary reception, strong organisational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while showing empathy to clients and their pets.

Formación

• Experience of working on a medical or veterinary reception is required.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Empathy, understanding and good communication are important in dealing with clients.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism.

Responsabilidades

• Welcoming clients and their pets for appointments with a compassionate, professional attitude.
• Answering telephone calls and queries from clients.
• Handling medications prepared by the veterinary surgeon and handing to clients.
• Maintaining the reception, waiting area and consultation rooms to a high standard of cleanliness.
• Dealing with stressed clients and directing them to the appropriate teams.
• Taking payments, registering new clients and addressing client concerns.
• Organising and restocking of the practice as needed.
• Complying with health and safety procedures.
• Ensuring client and patient confidentiality in line with data protection.
