Job summary

21 Health & Social Care, on behalf of Care Support Scotland, is hiring Support Workers for homelessness services across Midlothian. The role focuses on providing person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness to help them gain stability and independence.

You'll assist with daily routines, budgeting, housing access and liaise with landlords and housing services, delivering compassionate support in a multi-agency environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in social care or homelessness support desirable but not required.
• Compassionate, resilient and person-centred approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Assist with daily routines including budgeting and meal preparation.

• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings and training.
