Job summary

Care Support Scotland is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join Homelessness Services across Midlothian. You will provide person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness, helping them develop independent living skills and navigate housing options.

The role involves working with service users to manage daily routines, budgets and appointments, while promoting dignity and inclusion within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Assist with day-to-day routines, budgeting, meals and maintaining accommodation.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to build confidence and resilience.
• Help individuals access and sustain accommodation and liaise with landlords/services.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to support service users.
