Job summary

Southdown is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities live independent, dignified lives at Roman Court in Burgess Hill. This permanent role offers 20 to 37 hours per week, paid at £13.45 per hour, with shift uplifts for unsociable hours and sleep-in allowances.

You will support daily living tasks, encourage community activities, and work with a friendly team. Full training provided; enhanced DBS required; driving licence may be needed.

Qualifications

• A patient, empathetic approach.
• Completion of Southdown training in health & social care, moving and handling, Positive Behaviour Support, safeguarding, and health protocols.
• Willingness to support intimate and personal care needs.
• Enhanced DBS check (paid for by Southdown).
