Job summary

Southdown is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to assist individuals with learning disabilities in West Sussex at Lennox Court, Chichester. The role involves daily support in living independently while encouraging community engagement through various activities.

Full training will be provided with a focus on empowering clients and promoting their confidence and dignity. This is a fixed term contract with opportunities for development in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of enhanced DBS check (paid for by Southdown).
• No prior experience necessary, full training provided.
• Ability to assist with mobility and participate in activities.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with learning disabilities to live independently.
• Encourage clients to connect with their community.
• Assist with daily living tasks such as cooking and cleaning.
