Job summary

Thera Group is seeking a female support worker to join our team and support four individuals in their supported living home. You will help them maintain their home, learn new skills, and promote independence while enabling access to the community for appointments and social activities.

Full training will be provided, with a strong emphasis on person-centred care, teamwork, and compassionate, professional communication. A driving license is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, caring, and resilient in supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Self-starter with motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support four individuals in their supported living home and promote independence.
• Assist with home maintenance and access to community activities and appointments.
• Encourage participation in social clubs and leisure activities such as swimming, gym, cinema.
• Work as part of a supportive team to ensure safety and wellbeing.
