Priority, part of Orbis Education & Care, is recruiting a Support Worker to join our four-bedroom home near Bridgend in a peaceful Welsh countryside. No care experience required; we value the right values and attitude.

We offer full training, a rolling two-week rota with wake and sleep nights, 39 hours per week, and a pay rate of £13.45–£13.75 per hour depending on experience. You’ll help adults with daily needs, build trusting relationships, and support life skills in a person-centred

Qualifications

• Caring, patient and resilient approach to supporting others.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do mindset.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends and waking nights as part of a rota.
• A full UK driving licence (due to rural location).
• Willingness to learn — full training is provided!

Responsibilities

• Supporting adults with their daily needs to promote emotional, physical and social wellbeing.
• Building strong, trusting relationships so each person feels safe, valued and understood.
• Encouraging independence and helping people develop essential life skills.
• Supporting activities at home, during education programmes, or out in the community.
• Tailoring support to each individual’s needs in teamwork with colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate records of progress, activities and incidents.
• Assisting with day-to-day household tasks like cooking, cleaning and meal preparation.
